Prof. Giacomo Scalari from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, is set to present the iFLOWS Project and corresponding research on September 12th at the upcoming European Optical Society Annual meeting (EOSAM) 2023 which takes place in Dijon, France. The focus of his session will be on advanced technologies developed for the scanning and detection of illicit material in postal services and express courier flows. iFLOWS aims to introduce an innovative framework that enhances collaboration and intelligence among stakeholders in the transport chain.
During his presentation at EOSAM 2023, Prof. Scalari will provide insights into the multi-tiered approach implemented by iFLOWS, which aims to improve the screening process for letters and parcels. By upgrading the detection capabilities for threats, illicit materials, and dangerous substances, the project aims to enhance the security of international mail and courier flows.
